The Terminator

Hey it's been a bit since my last post, but here's some new work for you! I've done two pieces for Cult Cinema's Terminator night. We're hoping to create a series of smaller prints for people to collect from all the different films, and these will be the first two :) You can find out more about Cult Cinema at http://www.facebook.com/cultcinemasunday?fref=ts

I shall post another blog post when they are online to buy.

The ones above are going to sale but I thought I'd also show you my other two I tried out too.

Indian Illustration

Found this in a Vintage shop the other day and I absolutely love it! (My partner's not such a fan) It now sits pride of place on the wall next to my desk. I still need to find out more about it but so far I know it's opaque watercolours and gold on cloth done in the traditional Indian folk tale style.

Graduation

Finally graduated! Here's me and James who's looking kinda awkward! I think James has got some new bits up since I last posted his blog so here's a small plug for James http://jamesfenwickill.blogspot.co.uk/ :)

Die Antwoord

Been having some fun and decided I would do a Die Antwoord poster. I think they are pretty cool a quirky and should definitely give them a listen!!

Holiday!

I'm going away for a week, just down to the Isle of Wight, from this Saturday to the next Saturday. So if I don't reply to emails next week I do apologise and will get right on it the next :)

Humber Street Sesh - Live Painting

It was Humber Street Sesh this weekend just gone which was the first all day music event held and paid for by the people of Hull. It was an amazing day with street stalls, a silent disco, music from different hull bands all day, a pop up cinema, and best of all live painting!

Me, Gareth Sleightholme, Dominic Li, Chris Wood and James Fenwick did some live painting from 10am till 2.30pm. It was such good fun and lots of the public enjoyed stopping and watching us create.
It was the first day off together me and James had had in ages and we spent it painting side by side...certainly a different way for a couple to spend their spare time!

More artists took over in the afternoon till late on but it was getting a bit chaotic as the public got increasingly more drunk!

Roll on next year!
