Mr Indian Skull

Hey it's been awhile since I last posted and I have a few new things to show you when I get round to it but until then here's a piece I did today! I'm trying out thicker and bolder lines at the minute and keeping my colours minimal, it's looking good!

Instant Camera!

Best buy ever is my Fuji film instant mini camera! These are some of the images I took on my Birthday night out awhile ago! Thought I'd share them with you! If you want a camera that takes instant pics i'd definitely recommend this one its really handy and not to big so you can take it any where with you!

Mr Blobby

It was my friend Rich's birthday the other day and I've kept saying for ages I'd do him a picture and I finally got round to it! Everyone used to love Mr Blobby...to an extent! It was fun to draw and I'm happy that Rich actually looks like Rich I was worried I'd mess it up! I thought I would share it with everyone because I love it, and for once my typography looks good too :D!

Russian Circus Doll

A piece i did the other day when I was out Urban Sketching, I'd been drawing buildings so long I escaped back into my imagination! I'll put some of the sketches I did up from through out the day but this was my favourite one that came to me right at the end as I drank my pint of cider in the sun :)! Its a kind of Russian circus doll or To-tum pole.

Elvis Presley 2011

Finally my finished colour version of Elvis Presley! I'm happy with it but at the same time I feel like it needs something more, however I can't think what that something more should be! If you have any feedback or ideas just let me know! My twitter is http://twitter.com/#!/vicksoir and my facebook is http://en-gb.facebook.com/people/Victoria-Green-Illustration/100002530548813 cheers :)

Book Worm!

Well today I spent walking around town and drawing, as well as catching a bit of sunstroke! It was good fun, drawing the buildings tired me out but watching and drawing people kept me entertained! I will upload some of the sketches soon from today but for now I present you with this piece I've done where i have used a book as a sketch book! Still needs more work and a lot more sketches in the book but hey ho I like this one I've finished.

The King of Rock and Roll!

I really enjoyed drawing this image today it was quite therapeutic for me. This image is based on Elvis, I do like Elvis but I'm not to big a fan of impersonators and the way some try to be as sexy as Elvis but fail. This image is more of a slimy look at an Elvis look alike trying to be a sex symbol and impress the ladies. Quite dark again I know but it's more fun to do! Coloured version will be up when i get around to doing it!

I'm out drawing tomorrow with a group of illustrators around Hull we are all meeting at 10am at the coffee stand in the bus station if you are interested in joining too. I'm looking forward to seeing how it goes!
