Ripley's believe it or not!
'Frenchwomen in the 17th Century created elaborate hairdos with scenes from literature, models of the city of Paris, windmills and waterfalls.'
'Edward Bovington of Burnham England, had three tongues.'
For my latest editorial work I decided to illustrate some facts from the 'Ripley's believe it' or not book. I'm always interested in the unusual and bizarre and this book is rich with great tales of extraordinary people and things so it was good fun looking through the book and deciding which quotes to illustrate, I still have one more I want to do so keep checking back!

Platform Expos 2012
Over the 17th and 18th me and a group of illustrators from Hull did live painting at Platform Expos an event that showcases digital gaming and the entertainment industry. For my characters I played around with creating a monster robot creature hybrid! The days where long but fun and now I have two great character designs I intend to use and develop for another project.... :)
Also you can see our painted wall coming together in a time lapse video courtesy of photographer Thomas Arran (you can see more of his work at- http://www.flickr.com/photos/thomasarran)
